Terms & Conditions
1.
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS:
The acceptance of all orders and all sales by us are made subject
to and expressly conditional upon these terms and conditions. We
reserve the right to refuse any order where we feel that there is
fraudulent use of a credit card, but will endeavour to contact you
and accept an alternative payment method.
2. PAYMENT:
Unless we have extended credit to you, you shall pay Battery House
either by: Cheque with Order or by Credit or Debit Card. All cheque
payments must have full name, address and guarantee number on the
reverse of the cheque. If payment is made by Credit Card, the statement
will display Battery House as the creditor. If using Debit Card
there will be a £0.50 administration charge added to the total bill.
If paying by cheque you will be required to add £0.50 to the cost
of your batteries, to cover bank administration charges.
3. MINIMUM ORDER:
We do not specify a minimum order if you are using our shopping
cart or paying by cheque. If you wish to send a cheque with order,
please remember to add £0.50 to your total, to cover the costs of
bank administration charges
4. DELIVERY:
We shall deliver products to the you at the given address by the
buyer FREE of charge. Deliveries are expected to be within 2-3 working
days of receipt of order. Should there be no stock of an item ordered
we will contact the buyer to inform them of this and offer alternative
arrangements.
5. FORCE MAJEURE:
BatteryHouse shall not be liable for delay or failure to deliver
or perform due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, or for
Acts of God, acts of Buyer, acts of any governmental authority,
strikes or other Buyer, acts of any governmental authority, strikes
or other labour disturbances, delays in transportation, fuel or
energy shortages, or inability to obtain necessary components, services,
or facilities from usual sources.
6. HELD ORDERS:
Any orders held, delayed, or rescheduled at the request of the
Buyer will be subject to the prices and conditions of sale in effect
at the time of release of the holder or reschedule, plus any additional
costs incurred due to the hold or reschedule. Any such order held,
delayed, or rescheduled beyond a reasonable period of time will
be treated as a Buyer termination.
7. SUBSTITUTE EQUIVALENT:
We reserve the right to substitue an equivalent battery to the
battery ordered by the customer, either by type number and / or
manufacturer. This does not affect the consumer's rights to return
goods if they feel they are unsuitable for the purpose intended
for.
8. GENERAL LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
In no event shall we be liable for loss of profit or revenues,
loss of goodwill, loss of use, damages to or loss of other property
or equipment.

12. COMPLAINTS:
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with
the goods you receive, please email us at
with details of your complaint. To ensure you that we take your
complaint seriously we will acknowledge your email within 72hours
of receipt. In this email we will give you an indication of the
length of time we expect it will take to resolve any problems. If
there are any delays in this process we will keep you informed.
These
terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
